Hakone Open-Air Museum in Japan, With Pictures
Hakone Museum is Japan’s first open-air museum, opened by the end of 1960s (in 1969, to be more precise). And looks like people who visit the place really enjoy their visit. At least that is what it looks like from the reviews on internet. As for my friend who visited there, and shared these pictures with me — He sure loved it, as well.
I am going to tell much about it, I am sorry for that. Well, you could google it. It is a very famous tourist destination in Japan and I am sure you will find plenty of articles, reviews to read about the place. What I will do is to try and show it to you, rather than tell.

(Like I said, you do not have to be going there only for the artwork)

I went over my friend’s photo collection of the open-air museum, and picked some among them to share them with you. I hope you will like my selection. In any case, you will see what the place looks like and if you are planning a visit, this should help you make your mind up.
If you are an art nerd, this seems to be just the place for you. You could add it into you bucket-list for your travel to Japan. The area seems to be really pretty, as well. So you do not need to be a huge art nerd to visit this place. As it appears, you could find a lot of other good stuff in the area.
(Yeap, that is Mr. Picasso)
Yeap, that is about it — end of the tour in the open-air museum in Hakone, Japan. Hope you all enjoyed it. If you did, share the joy! See you in another destination, people!
