You can’t say that going to New York or a nature hike in Hawaii is the same thing. 🙂 It’s like the so called territories of my own home country (Denmark), I would never call a person from Greenland a dane unless he/she really wanted to because these territories are countries with their own culture and even languages as well. You can go to Greenland, but be uninterested in Denmark, just as an example of what I meant.
