Falls Park On Reedy; Greenville Main Street Attractions, South Carolina
|Hi there fellows, dear visitors and followers! As some of you will remember I had started posting about several locations in South Carolina, such as Lake Jacossee and Main Street – Downtown Greenville. I believe I told earlier in one of those posts that I was going write about this attraction point in Greenville town center, Falls Park on Reedy.
Main Street itself is definitely a beauty and a place to see if you are in the area; another thing which makes down town so special is this park. In fact, we could easily say that both Main Street and Falls Park complete each other to become an excellent whole tourist attraction, as well as it attracts many local people.

As you could see in the pictures and should have guessed from its name, there is a beautiful little river passing through the park and at one point it is the falls above which The Liberty Bridge is situated. This place is, and yes, right in the middle of Main Street. So, while taking a walk and seeing this beautiful street, right on the road side, the entrance to the park is, visit this place to take a walk, some fresh air, see people fishing, playing, trying to climb at falls, take a walk on scenic Liberty Bridge, go down the park along the river… don’t forget the nearby arts center if you have time.

A great way to relax and chill out before and/or after eating something. If you are interested in photography, this place could as well prove to be one particularly beautiful location; entire park is photogenic. For occasions such as graduation, engagement etc. it could be your place if you are a local person or live not so far.

The place is also very much kid friendly, so do not hesitate. It sure can be a fun place for the whole family. Get into the river with your kids and play, splash the water; and no it is not deep at all, at least not at or around where the falls is, I don’t know the other parts of the river but I doubt it would be anything highly concerning.

You could easily hear Greenville people calling it as one of the best things happened to the city, and they sure seem to be right. In the middle of the city, such a beautiful place, it is superb. It is completely free of charge, too. People who visit there even during winter time find this park to be beautiful. Well, after all, it is the south!
